The LTX12 series capacitance level gauges are highly accurate and designed to measure tank levels of conductive and non-conductive liquids. LTX12 gauges measure the change in capacitance that occurs as the tank level changes and outputs a standard loop-powered 4-20mA signal. These gauges use very high frequency and very low amplitude sensing circuitry to greatly minimize the effects of coating on the sensing probe.
The LTX12 features stainless steel bayonet housing, a bright and large 4-digit red LED display, 4-20mA output, optional switch output and optional RTD output. The electrical connection is an M12 male connector or cable. The electronics are housed in a standard deep drawn stainless sheet metal enclosure, or optional rugged cast machined stainless enclosure. The enclosures are NEMA 4X rated. Caustic washdown is not a problem. Probe material is SS316, supplied bare or PFA jacketed. The LTX12 is designed for tanks which have available NPT or Tri-Clamp connection. Other fittings are available. Consult factory.
The LTX12 can be used in many applications. There are no moving parts. PFA jacketed probe can withstand temperatures of up to 200°C and pressures to 500 psi.
