A Hydrostatic Level Transmitter is a submersible level sensor that indicates level by means of measuring the pressure difference between the hydrostatic pressure of the liquid head over the diaphragm and the actual atmospheric pressure.

Hydrostatic level transmitters are suitable for water-based liquids in deep wells and are recommended for monitoring of submersible pumps. They can also be used in applications involving oils, diesel fuels and mild corrosive liquids.
